Anti-wrinkle injections

Botulinum toxin type A can be injected to temporarily relax the muscles which cause wrinkling of the overlying skin. The onset of action is within 2-4 days, reaching the peak of action at 2 weeks post-injection. The results typically last up 3-4 months.

Polynucleotides - Croma PhilArt

Polynucleotides are fragments if DNA sourced from fish which are injected into the dermis of the skin. This biostimulator, or skin booster, acts at a cellular level by stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, combating free radicals, and attracting water. Overall this treatment results in gradual dermal regeneration and tackles inflammation which improves skin firmness, texture and hydration.

This treatment is placed at areas of need but is particularly beneficial for around the eyes, face, neck, décolletage, hands and body (laxity to the skin on the stomach, upper arms and above the knees are common areas). Stretch marks can also be specifically targeted to reduce redness and improve the appearance.

This treatment is a longer term commitment to your skin health with benefits being seen after the first 2-3 treatments.

A treatment course of 3 sessions (4 if more signs of ageing), 2-3 weeks apart. A maintenance treatment is recommended every 3 months.

Profhilo

Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid treatment injected into the dermis of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the skin and is known for its ability to attract water and thus hydrates and plumps the skin. There are also benefits to collagen and elastin production and this sets it apart from other skin boosters.

The treatment is typically 5 injection points either side of the face, specifically chosen to maximise the dispersion of the product. Other areas can be targeted, such as the neck, décolletage, hands and body. This is repeated after 4 weeks. Improvements to the skin's radiance can be appreciated within weeks and typically lasts 6 months or longer.
